My motivation
I would like to contribute to the consolidation and development of the church and faith. And why? Our fellow human beings deserve to know that they are infinitely loved by God and can trust him. The church is the original sacrament for the world. In, through and by her, the world should recognize that it is loved by God and that it is worth following Jesus in many ways. To do this, however, bishops, priests and the faithful must become capable of speaking about their faith.
From personal experience, I not only know the Catholic Church, but also numerous free, evangelical and Pentecostal churches and their vitality. This is where people find their spiritual home and are willing to get involved and are supported in their endeavours. When I returned to the Catholic Church, I missed this vitality, this commitment and this personal dialogue about faith.
That’s why I studied theology after my engineering degree and, in particular, ChuchGrowth in the USA. I wanted to know how churches can grow. In order to be able to provide better advice, I trained as a communication and systemic organisational consultant and mediator, which made me realise how constructivist our knowledge is.
